Back in June I had my only sister’s Hen Party. I love a special occasion, and we organised a weekend full of events for her and her friends in London – a dance class, picnic, cocktails, you name it. On the Saturday evening, we headed out and with the instruction to ‘dress glam’, I got to wear one of my favourite pieces from my wardrobe.
I’ll admit, this is a Marks and Spencer heavy post. Totally inadvertantly, I promise – perhaps they’re just on point this year? First up, let’s talk about the skirt. Everyone asks where it’s from, and they’re always so surprised when I tell them. I love the colour, the fabric and the shape – it’s so unqiue and expensive looking.
I let the skirt do the talking, so a simple black crop, some strappy summer heels and my Rebecca Minkoff was all I needed. I love the midi trend – it’s so spot on for a tall girl like me, and it always looks chic!
If you’ve landed here, you’re probably looking to find out more about Katherine-Louise. Run by me, Kat - put simply I'm a 30 year old who is decidedly normal. My blog is a destination for women just like me - the same interests and aspirations, working our way through the same twists and turns of life. Katherine-Louise is designed to inspire and inform; to give you a break from the norm as well identify with the beauty of routine. A fifteen minute recoup, or an hours vacation, it’s the go-to for Everyday-Joe’s, just like me, who want a few minutes off the radar.
