If you’ve seen my last two posts, you’ll know the reason I spent most of August in the USA was for my sisters wedding. Over there, rehearsal dinners are a tradition – an evening meal with the wedding party a night or two before the big day.
I won’t go into detail about the event – that’s saved for another post, but I wanted to share my outfit in today’s post. In true American style, I kept things blue, white…and I forgot the red. Perhaps a rouge lip would’ve worked, but in the mayhem of hosting guests, my make up got a little overlooked!
I picked this white skirt up from Gap’s summer collection – it’s pretty timeless and a great, universal summer piece. I love white and nautical stripes together, so my favourite crop came in handy. It’s super comfy and a good length for me – sitting just nicely inside the waistband of the skirt. White sandals, with a low heel as to not be too dressed up, finished my look off nicely. An easy summertime look!
