All hail winter dressing. Isn’t life so much easier when there’s a chill in the air? If you’re blessed with less than perfect legs, you’ll (like me) relish nothing more than slipping on your 200 deniers at the first sign of frost. I can bring out all my too-short-for-summer skirts and dresses, give them a whole new lease of life and enjoy a bit more variety in my wardrobe than skinny jeans and sandals.
Last week, I did just that with my trusty pleather/denim hybrid skirt – an unusual sale bargain last year and one that comes out season after season. It’s slightly on the large size for me, and that’s why I love it. My other leather skirts have a habit of riding up as a walk, but this is loose, comfy and easy. I teamed it with one of my new favourite pieces, and an item thats bound to be on me for the entirety of the Christmas period – this white crop jumper from Next. Spotted at their AW14 press day back in the summer, it’s the perfect length and looseness for a chic but casual look.
