After Friday nights dinner and drinks, Saturday morning called for one thing. Sunday brunch. I know a quiet spot in town, which is never quiet come the evening but on a weekend morning, it’s spacious and tranquil – a hidden gem. Me and Lizzie headed down and caught the end of the brunch menu (eggs benedict FTW), and…the start of the lunch menu, opting to share a pudding to combat our sweet cravings. Peanut Butter Parfait, Warm Banana Loaf and Salted Caramel Ice Cream – me in a dessert, how could we not? For those local, this little spot (which boasts amazing cocktails and evening meals as well as super polite and helpful waiters) is The White Star, Southampton.

There’s just something about white jeans and stripes, so when I had the chance to don my new bargain Hayden’s from Topshop (£10 in the sale), I teamed them with a casual navy tee and Converse to keep things simple and comfy. After filling our bellies and shopping for our next meal, we finished our afternoon off with a nap – the perfect Saturday!
