Today’s post features a very underated item of my kit. Something I lay out everytime I open up my case and spread my make up out, this little baby is always there. The POP Portfolio Palette – here.
I picked this up on a whim last year via ASOS as, let’s be honest – it’s rather pretty. POP wasn’t a make up brand I’d heard much about (I still haven’t to this day – I’m sure I’ve clocked some nail polishes around but that’s it), but I was taken in by the 36 shades of colourful goodness.
The palette consists of all shimmer shades. Not one for matte lovers, but in my kit – it’s so versatile. The brown nudes and warm peaches are perfect for a little kick to a bridal look, but the pastels, blues and unique brights are great for playing around with fun fashion looks. The pigmentation is great for the price you pay – these shadows average out at £1.70 a shade! I’m always impressed when I dive into a new shade and see the colour pay off that comes across on the lids – I’m not sure I’ve even used all 36 shadows yet!
I’m hoping to use this palette in a tutorial on my YouTube channel soon but I thought I’d share this little secret with you all today, if you fancy a play around with a bargain palette anytime soon!
